a year agoWhen I first contacted Matt, I told him about our property and the unique situation we were in. It involved my husband getting himself into a bind because of early signs of dementia. We were living separately and I was unaware he had fallen behind. Matt was a very patient and kind listener. He took the basic information and before long, had called back with an offer. I ended up getting several offers which were the same price and terms. I was impressed that Matt worked the numbers and didn't need to see the home to arrive at the same amount as the others who had viewed the property. Regrettably, we went with someone else who the park office had recommended. He was the only one who wanted a longer escrow. There ended up being a reason for that, unfortunately. Matt wished us well and said thank you. Right before escrow was to close, the buyer backed out. In a text message. I contacted Matt and asked if he was still interested. He was indeed. By this time, the market had changed and there were several more homes on the market, (including the first buyer's two flips). We agreed on a new offer and proceeded to move forward. Because of the time frame, there was a management issue. It caught us all off-guard. Matt went above and beyond to find out what the issues were. Not like a flipper, or a realtor, or a businessman. But like a son would have done for his aging parents. He did what needed to be done and we were able to walk away without losing everything. I found him not only intelligent and professional but 100% ethical and honest. Thanks ever so much, Matt.
