I've worked with Bye Bye House and represented them on multiple real estate transactions. Bye Bye House provides beautiful remodeled homes and has been the easiest real estate investor to work with. They have a good sense of the real estate markets they work in and take on many properties that other investors will not touch. No matter what issues or problems are uncovered with properties, Bye Bye House always does their absolute best to close on every transaction they get in contract in, when other investors simply cancel. I couldn't recommend Bye Bye House enough!

I purchased what was supposed to be a “newly renovated” home from Bye Bye House 8 months ago, and I still haven’t been able to move in because of the endless problems this company concealed. Mold was hidden behind brand new cabinetry and tiles. The roof was in total disrepair, requiring a complete replacement. A retaining wall in the garden was collapsing. Instead of properly repairing or removing it, they simply built a new wall in front of the old one to cover it up. Within 3 months, the original wall gave way and collapsed onto the new one, leaving the entire structure unsound. The sliding glass doors are bowing, another sign of shoddy work. I’ve already spent over $500,000 on repairs, on top of paying top price for the property. Even the inspectors couldn’t catch these issues because of the deliberate cover-ups done during the “renovation.” I do not recommend this company to anyone. Their dishonesty, poor workmanship, and disregard for homeowners is shocking. I’m genuinely surprised they would risk their reputation with such deceptive practices.

A solid and professional home buyer/investor that I work with. As a buyer, they always do all of their due diligence and inspections rather than have their “contractor” walk it then ask for an arbitrary reduction based on nothing. They always work to get to close on the property and are often offering more than other investors. As you may know if you work with investors in any field, sometimes the transactions, negotiations, or “deals” can take longer than expected due to surprises found along the way. This usually happens in the condition of the foundation, sewer, roof, etc for the properties we look at. They are always willing to try to make it work with the seller even if it takes some additional time.

Selling to Bye Bye House was a mistake. We had multiple offers and accepted Bye Bye's because it was the highest, was all cash, 14-day close and they agreed to no post-inspection discounts for our fixer upper. They re-negged on every single point. They're affiliated with a lender (Center Street in Irvine), their loan process delayed the sale and they reduced their price because they claimed the cost of their loan was higher than expected. Poor/disrespectful communication. Their broker was not local so had no local reputation to uphold. Note that it is VERY difficult for a seller to get a buyer deposit without legal action. We only hope our experience can be helpful others. :)
